All our other shells are made from veneer. We have to take that veneer and process it. Cut to size, join together, press into ply, control humidity - This takes time. 

Our 'ReadyPly' Birch shells allow us to skip that part of the build process. We take ready made Scandinavian Birch Plywood  off the shelf and straight into our molds.

This saves us masses of time, frees up molds quicker and allows us to move on the next job sooner. 

The face ply runs Vertically.

We try to complete all orders within 2 week regardless of quantity. 

Fun Facts:

Our shells are cold molded and don't use any internal pressure, instead the shells dry naturally and rely on exact measurement and cutting.

There will be no gaps in the joins that you see in mass produced oven type mold systems that rely on internal pressure

The lack of heated glue impregnating the whole shell ( this happens in the oven type systems) allows for a truer reflection of the shells voice, you will find a greater difference in the pitch of the shells between the various diameters, as you're hearing the wood, not the glue.
